Wow! That’s the way to start ff the year :-)
Last week was harder than I’d thought it would be. Many times I picked up food around the office and shoved it into my mouth without thinking about it. Thinking about what I eat and why I’m eating it is going to be a challenge!
Going to the gym is also a challenge. My company has a small, but very well equipped gym we can use whenever we want. Just walking over there and changing into workout clothes has proven to be challenge. I can make every excuse in the world to not go. I even believe some of them! One gym visit a week this first month should be doable. Then I can see results and be encouraged to visit more! It sounds so straight forward out loud. But when it comes to 6pm and I’m looking at the options for the night:
- Elliptical
- Couch
My resolve then becomes cloudy. I need to find a gym mate. Some one that will encourage me to go at least until I can motivate myself!
